    Students really get into the “fable” concept! For a while after doing this lesson, there was two sides to every situation…even classroom situations!

    For some reason students have to be entertained when dealing with literature. If they do not see how it affects them, they find it boring and superfluous, eg. “Gulliver’s Travels” or “Macbeth.” By bringing a different point of view through a children’s story, they are willing to follow along with the lesson.

    As we discussed the students’ hobbies,I found that some don’t have hobbies except “hanging with friends” or watching T.V.
