Synopsis
Lesson Snapshot
1. Engage: Students will listen to The Paper Crane by Molly Bang. Students will also hear a brief history of Origami.
2. Explore: Students will take a scavenger hunt to locate different geometric shapes and angles and video what they find.
3. Explain: Students will demonstrate their understanding by comparing their scavenger hunt finds with their Origami folds.
4. Extend/Expand: Students will make their own Origami and display them as Mathematical art.
5. Evaluate: Student identify and explain a set of terms found in their Origami sculpture.
