Jean McGregor Cate, Ph.D., has been an educator for over 30 years, serving as a public school science teacher, principal, technology coordinator and curriculum director. Currently, she serves as an associate director of the K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal and is the director of K20alt.
Sharon Wilbur – email@example.com
Dr. Sharon Wilbur brings over 30 years of experience to her current position as Director of Leadership Projects at the K20 Center. She taught middle school and high school art for 18 years and served as a building administrator at both the elementary and secondary level for 14 years. With this background, Dr. Wilbur creates the visual art lessons for the K20ALT web site while also working with school leaders as they implement change within their own schools.
Kristi is certified by the state of Oklahoma in all sciences for junior high and high school. She has sixteen years of teaching secondary science. Kristi is also an adjunct physics instructor at Oklahoma City Community College. She achieved National Board Certification in AYA – science/physics in 2009. Kristi has numerous years of experience in collaborative lesson writing using Lesson Study protocol. She is also currently working on Integrated Math Biology curriculum with Rutger’s University and Colorado State University. Kristi is finishing her master’s work in instructional leadership and academic curriculum with science emphasis at the University of Oklahoma and will be pursuing her doctoral degree upon completion. She is dedicated to education for all and is a firm believer that all children can learn using authentic research based instructional strategies and an environment conducive to success.
Social Studies-Kim Pennington – firstname.lastname@example.org
Kim is a secondary social studies teacher with 18 years of classroom experience in Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor’s degree in History (1993) and Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum-Social Studies(2003) from the University of Oklahoma. In 2000, Kim was named the James Madison Fellow for the state of Oklahoma and received her National Board Certification in 2007. Kim currently teaches a social studies theory course in the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma and volunteers for the American Red Cross as a Master Teacher in the Exploring Humanitarian Law Program.

Amanda received her Bachelor’s in English with an emphasis in writing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She taught honors English I, Pre-AP English II, English II, Film as Literature, and Drama at Elgin High School while completing her Master’s in Educational Administration at SWOSU. From Elgin, she moved to Clinton and taught AP Literature and Composition, English IV, 7th grade honors English, and 7th & 8th Reading Remediation classes. Along with her teaching duties, she was the test coordinator for Clinton High School. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision at the University of Oklahoma.

Brian received his BA at Midwestern State University and a M.Ed in curriculum and instruction from Touro University. Brian is licensed in ELA in Oklahoma, Texas, and Nevada. He believes that all students can learn and is an advocate for equality in education. He has taught 7th-12th grade English, Broadcast Journalism, and coached MS and HS Basketball. He is currently working towards an administrative certificate, but hopes to retire as a classroom teacher and coach. Boomer Sooner!

Quentin Biddy is certified by the state of Oklahoma in all middle school/junior high sciences. He has 6 years of secondary science teaching experience. Quentin has taught varying levels of classes from split team taught classes to Pre-AP level science courses. He spent the bulk of his teaching career teaching with Moore Public Schools. Quentin received his Bachelor’s degree in secondary science education from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. Throughout his teaching experience he has participated in collaborative workshops and institutes specifically focused on Authentic lesson design and implementation. Quentin is currently a graduate student in the Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum program pursuing his Master’s degree in Science Education at the University of Oklahoma.

3-5- Tracy Huntley
Tracy is an Elementary teacher with 15 years experience. She received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1995. Tracy is currently working on an Elementary Mathematics Specialist certificate and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. She believes that building positive relationships with students and fellow teachers is an essential key to developing life-long learners.
3-5- Ann Worden
Ann Worden has thirty years experience in the elementary classroom and K-12 library. She earned her Elementary Education Degree from Oklahoma State University, Masters Degree from Georgia College and State University, and Administrator Certification from the University of Oklahoma. Currently she is a Literacy Specialist for the K20 Center. Go Pokes!
